+Di An district’s An Binh commune Fatherland Front Committee just summed up its 15-year implementation on the mobilization of all people unity to build civilized life in residential areas in the 1995-2010 period and the 10-year implementation of ‘Day for the poor’ campaign and set out targets for the new period. Specifically, the commune strives to reach 90-95% of civilized families, reduce rate of poor households and so on.

+During the 2010 Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety, provincial Department for Food Hygiene and Safety set up 95 inspection delegations at all levels. Among 1,150 food production-business establishments under inspection, there were 988 wrong establishments, 62 of which were imposed the fine of nearly VND60mln. One cooking establishment was also suspended from operation as it did not meet conditions on food safety and hygiene.

+Phu Giao district Red Cross society held a contest of first aid skills with the participation of 18 teams from 20 grassroot societies. This event helped Red Cross society’s members at all levels practice skills of first aid.
