Over 18,672 people certified as socially-privileged

Early May 26, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, member of Standing Board of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Chair of Binh Dung Provincial People’s Committee, host a meeting to approve verification of reports of those people not yet certified as socially-privileged by the reviewing of 2-year policy of preferential treatment (2014-2015) towards people of contribution to revolutionary activities.

Through the general review, 18,672 people have been certified as socially-privileged, of whom, 33 alive heroic mothers are supported by departments and agencies in life. They are cared for by monthly basis.

Omission was not detected by the review but 118 people not listed. Currently, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has demanded its staffs to process the profiles of 118 people as mentioned to propose for further consideration.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem affirmed the necessary policies for socially-privileged people. He demanded that, for the time to come, actions should be made to offer all the preferential benefits to those of contribution to national revolutionary activities.
