Provincial Council for Commendation and Reward yesterday held the 3rd patriotic emulation congress in the 2005 and 2010 period. Attending the congress were Vuong Van Dinh, Deputy Chief of the Central Council of Commendation and Reward, Mai The Trung, a member of the Central Communist Party Committee, Chief of provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Hoang Son, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and more than 300 delegates, including revolutionary veterans, heroic mothers and those who gained achievements in the patriotic emulation movement between 2005 and 2010.

Speaking at the congress, Mr.Son said: “Through the patriotic emulation movements, there appeared many exemplary role-models. They also created contributions to great achievements in the local renewal and development process…”.
On this occasion, the province was awarded the Government’s 3rd prize and emulation banner for its achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of the east-southern region in 2009. Provincial People’s Committee also presented the emulation banners to 14 collectives and the certificates of merit to 190 collectives and individuals for their good performance in the patriotic emulation movement between 2005 and 2010.
