Over 400 female workers under free medical check-up

Provincial Family Planning Association in collaboration with the Trade Union of Vastco Garments Co. in Thuan An town provided free gynaecological check-ups for more than 400 female workers at the company from April 11 to 13.

They were also guided on how to prevent sexually-transmitted diseases, take care of reproductive health, especially women’s health after giving birth. In addition, the delegation provided them with free contraceptive devices together with some healthcare services with 30%-60% discounts.

Tran Van Thanh, President of the company’s Trade Union said that all company workers are medically checked twice a year. This is the first year the company has organized such healthcare program for female workers, thereby showing more attention from leaders of the company for laborers.
