Over 700 delegates of military medical personnel of D War Base attend the 27th traditional get-together

Early April 9, at provincial Center for Conference and Exhibition, provincial Party Committee, provincial People’s Committee, and the liaison board of military medical personnel of D War Base organized their 27^th traditional get-together. Attending the event was representatives of Ministry of Health, local leaders of Dong Nam Bo Region, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, and over 700 all-time delegates of military medical personnel.

In the warm atmosphere of the get-together, the delegates have reviewed the tradition of military medical personnel in D War Base. In 2015, the liaison board has coordinated with localities to offer free medical services to local people of Bac Tan Uyen District, pay out over VND 170 million to build charity houses and for visits to their comrades in illness and death. Addressing the get-together, Dang Minh Hung, the Deputy Chair of provincial People’s Committee stressed that the Party Committee, armed force, and local people of Dong Nam Bo Region remember and adore the contributions of medical personnel in revolutionary causes for their sacrifices of youth and lives. On the occasion, 10 scholarship packages of VND 2 million each have been offered to students of Binh Duong Medical College for their excellent overcoming hardship to study.
