Despite difficulties and shortcomings in building Party organization at businesses, results in the first 6 months of this year showed positive changes, contributing to develop Party building work at enterprises.

Party members’ political ability enhanced

According to a report from the Party Committee for Corporate Bloc, thanks to excellence in instruction, the work of political education and promulgation for officials and party members and laborers at businesses has been gradually improved. The Party’s resolutions and State’s legal policies have been disseminated timely to all party members and laborers.

The mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” including concrete plans has been launched to every party member and worker. As a result, after the mobilization, 100% of party members at businesses involved and set out targets for efforts. In addition, industrial parks’ trade unions also launched the mobilization to more than 300 unionists, creating a lively emulation ambience. Occasionally, 2 training classes on Party admission were held for 361 participants.

In the first half of this year, the party committee for corporate bloc set newly up one grassroot level party organization and renamed 4 others to bring proper operation for businesses. As many as 102 party members at 30 grassroot level party organizations were admitted and recognized as official members. Some party members were awarded the Party badges for 30 years and 40 years.

As of late June, 2010, the entire party committee had more than 2,000 party members at 61 grassroot units. To prepare for the all level Party Congress towards the 11th national Party Congress, the bloc completed set out plans of personnel at all levels and chose Thanh Le Trade Co’s party committee to hold a direct vote for vice secretaries and secretary at all levels. To date, 100% of graroot party units of the bloc have completed their congresses.

Inspections and surveillances strengthened

In the first six months of this year, the bloc inspected 2 grassroot party units and supervised 4 others. Accordingly, one unit was disciplined. The bloc’s standing committee decided to suspend Party activity of one party member. Well implementation of inspections has helped the bloc minimize violations from party members.

In the coming time, the bloc’s Party Inspection Committee will keep inspections on finance and Party activities at some grassroot party units as well as check implementation of the mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” and among others.
