Phu Giao district to achieve over VND8.600 billion of total revenue of production and services in 2015

Morning Nov 27^th, Phu Giao district People’s Committee held the 42^nd regular meeting to adopt the draft report on socio-economic, defense - security condition in 2015 and directions and tasks in 2016.

In 2015, the district sustained a stable economic growth. Total production value of agricultural and forestry reached VND3,382 billion, increasing 6% compared with Party Resolution and 5% year-on-year; total production value of industry – handicraft reached VND2,358 billion, increasing 7.33% year-on-year; total value of retail sales and services reached VND2,890 billion, increasing21% compared with Party Resolution and 19.18% year-on-year. Total budget revenue gained VND158 billion, achieving 100% year-target. By the end of 2015, the district had 99.8% households using electricity; the proportion of households using clean hygienic water reached 99.93%; 31/37 schools met national standards; the percentage of pupils completing primary education reached 99.9%; completing secondary education reached 97.81%; completing high school education reached 94.71%... Works on cultural, social, taking care of policy family, poor household, health care for the people were also performed well.

In 2016, Phu Giao district will continue to promote action plans of district Party Committee on the implementation of the Party Resolution in the 2015-2020. Accordingly, maintaining sustainable economic growth with production value of agriculture and forestry to increase from 5.5 to 6.5%; industry to increase 12-14%; total revenue of retail sales and service to increase 20-22%; total State budget revenue to reach over VND154.3 billion; over 99.8% households to use electricity; 99.3% households to use clean water; 3 schools to meet national standards; poverty rate to fell by 1.5% according to new criteria of the province...
