Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC’s party committee yesterday held its 9th congress for the 2010-2015 term with the participation of 176 official deputies representing 847 party members of 10 party sub-committees of the company. Vice chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Thi Kim Van attended and steered the congress.

Reportedly, the company party committee secretary Nguyen Van Tan said that in the past term the company exploited, processed and consumed 130,000 tons of rubber latex as well as reached over VND2tril in the company asset value from VND400bil in the early term. Prestige and trademark of Phuoc Hoa Rubber has been affirmed, bringing a stable income for laborers with over VND5mil per capita per month.

In the Party building work, the party committee excelled the mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” and developed additional 239 new party members, reaching 104% of its goal.

Addressing the congress, Van highly valued the company’s achievements and stressing that the company party committee should focus on Party building work in combination with leadership capacity enhancement and so on.

Also the same day, the congress selected the 27-member new executive board for the 2010-2015 term. The congress will ratify its goals for the next term.
