Pivotal role of a State-owned enterprise

Becamex IDC has understood and found a direction, linking its development with the local common development and considered the local development as its mission.

The success of Becamex IDC in recent years has been supported by many sides, especially the attention and direction of ministries, central agencies and provincial leaders. However, if leaders of Becamex IDC are not dynamic and lack breakthroughs, it is sure that the “Becamex” brand will not be as resounding and widespread as it is today. From a State-owned enterprise operating in many industries, Becamex IDC has quickly adapted to the socialist-oriented market economy in the early years of renewal process. Next, Becamex IDC has chosen its own direction, which is to develop industrial - urban infrastructure to join hands with the province to accelerate the local industrialization and modernization process.

Changing from adaption to development is a big step for a State-owned enterprise, but its development making the local face switch must require a lot of wisdom and stance from leaders of the enterprise. Becamex IDC has done that. "Flower mat and red carpet" are the major policies of the province since the early days of renovation and the pivotal unit contributing to concretizing these big policies is Becamex IDC. Thanks to daring think, daring do and daring take responsibility, from the first model industrial park, a series of industrial parks - urban areas have been shaped, built and put into operation from Becamex IDC, changing the local face only after only a quarter century. Not only accompanying the province, Becamex IDC has also cooperated with foreign investors to spread the VSIP model throughout the country.

The pivotal role of Becamex IDC does not stop at investment in industrial and urban infrastructure, but also manifests itself in mapping out the local development strategy and calling for investment. The results of joint ventures and associations with a series of industrial - urban projects in the province and many FDI projects from large corporations in the world coming to Binh Duong have all come from the efforts by Becamex IDC. By its reputation, through many different channels, Becamex IDC has invited friends and partners to come to Binh Duong, contributing to changing the local face and making great contributions to the common development of the country.
