Policy payment via ATM for revolutionary contributors and people with social support implemented

Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Document No. 6718/KH-UBND directing departments, sectors and localities in the province to coordinate in the peak implementation of database authentication on social welfare and payment policies without cash for revolutionary contributors and people with social support in the province.

Accordingly, provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Police Agency, Department of Finance, State Treasury, Social Insurance, Post Office, People's Committees of districts and towns, Binh Duong Branch’s State Bank of Vietnam will jointly carry out procedures related to the comparison and authentication of citizen's identity, issuance of identification numbers and social welfare accounts; provide bank accounts and ATM cards for revolutionary contributors and people under social support, guardians in the province (except for the targeted people who are unable to conduct transactions without a person to authorize and supervise).

The document clearly states the responsibilities and tasks of each department, sector and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the implementation. The time to make policy payments via ATM for the targeted people starts from January 1, 2023 to January 10, 2023.
