The Youth Union is considered as a cradle for youths and unionists to Party development. Therefore, over the past years, Ben Cat district Youth Union has always paid attention to improving quality of grassroot youth unions’ operation, resulting in emerging elite unionists with firm political thought and high capacity.

Numerous various movements of political thought education, volunteer activity, non-interest loan offering and many more have been held to help hundreds of youths escape poverty.

From these significant movements, many excellent youth examples have been joined into the Party organization.

Over the past 5 years (2007-2012), Ben Cat district youth union has introduced 916 elite unionists to the Party organization. As a result, 678 excellent unionists have been become party members. Party member Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy of Cay truong commune party committee, said “Being joined into the Party organization is a dream for unionists. Becoming a party member will have many opportunities to contribute to the country’s development. I will strive further to complete my tasks”.

Facilitating youths and unionists’ dedication

To facilitate youths and unionists’ admission into the Party organization, each grassroot youth union across the province has unique action programs in conformity with localities’ capacity. Implementing the mobilization of “Unionists strive to become party members”, youth unions across localities such as Ben Cat, Di An Thu Dau Mot have reached a high rate of newly-admitted party members. This shows that youth union organization has joined positively in the Party building work.

Over years, the provincial youth union has launched many significant movements to educate political thought for youths and unionists. In this summer volunteer campaign alone, there are thousands of youths and unionists volunteering to arrive at remote areas to universalize IT for rural youths, to make rural roads or transfer tech-science on farming and breeding to farmers.

In the past year, nearly VND2bil were disbursed to help needy youths improve their living, 16,604 youths were introduced jobs, 2,584 others enjoyed stable jobs at companies. On average, thousands of youths have annually enjoyed loans to develop home-based economy. A stable living will appear many new and typical factors, increasing rate of newly-admitted party members.

Possibly speaking, patriotic and social movements have helped youths and unionists realize their role for the society and locality, resulting in emerging many typical examples for the Party organization.
