Dao Ngoc Nu, head of the steering board of "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" mobilization cum chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said the steering board built and launched plans and held many programs of taking Vietnamese goods to rural customers.
In 2010, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee in cooperation with the local departments of Trade and Industry, Culture, Sport & Tourism and local Farmers' Society has combined the mobilization of "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" with promulgations by distributing over 20,000 promulgation documents on Vietnamese goods, Vietnam-Binh Duong Ceramics Festival, holding 6 training classes and workshops with the participation of 1,230 people.
the most highlighted feature in 2010 was that the steering board of the mobilization successfully held 10 fairs to take Vietnamese goods to rural areas.
The local Youth Union alone held 2 market sessions at the Week for young workers, luring thousands of laborers. Dao Ngoc Nu said the success of the market sessions showed impressive figures with the total discount goods value of nearly VND2bil.
She added that the mobilization has met local people's shopping demand. Accordingly, local people has further believed in Vietnamese trademarks. This success was thanks to promulgations on mass media at all levels.
To uphold efficiency of this mobilization, the steering board has from now till Tet 2011 mobilized businesses to join in year-end price stability, ensure food safety and hygiene, offer discount goods sellings for customers before, during and after Tet.
