Power development planning to meet actual needs

Department of Industry and Trade devised the outline and cost estimates of Binh Duong Province Power development planning in 2016-2025 period with vision till 2035 to submit to PPC.  Accordingly, planning contents comprised two parts: 110kV power system planning, and Detailed planning for medium and low voltage grid after 110kV substation.

The implementation of this master plan is to meet the power demands in the province, namely from 1,574 MW in 2015 to 2,427 MW in 2020 and 3,688 MW in 2025; increase commercial electricity output from 8,956 GWh in 2015 to 14,496 GWh in 2020 and 22,838 GWh in 2025; develop 220 - 110kV grid to improve power supply reliability, reduce power losses and sure adequate supply of power for socio-economic development…

After finalization of the draft planning, Department of Industry and Trade will submit to PPC at the end of Jun 2016 and provincial People’s Council at the end of Jul 2016.
