Press agencies of great contribution to information dissemination awarded

In the afternoon of December 17, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and the Vietnamese Journalists Association of the province held a meeting to reward press officials who have made many contributions in information and propaganda for Binh Duong province. Attending the event was Mr. Bui Huu Toan, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Division of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Vietnamese Journalists, leaders of Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station and provincial Department of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Huu Toan thanked the press agencies from inside and outside the province for accompanying and making many contributions to the common development of Binh Duong province. In particular, the press agencies have boldly propagated the development of the province, especially about the Party Congress at all levels, the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly, the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2025 term, by which Mr. Bui Huu Toan hoped that in the coming time, the press agencies inside and outside the province would continue to propagate and promote the image of Binh Duong's development to the people in the country and international friends. In particular, they should boldly propagate the achievements over 25 years of construction and development of the province from January 1, 1997 to January 1, 2022.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 30 collectives of press agencies and 10 journalists working in press agencies outside the province for their contributions in information and propaganda in 2020. Journalists Association of the province has commended 15 journalists who are members of the Vietnamese Journalists Association of the province for great contributions to the prevention and control of COVID-19 over the past time.
