 *10 eateries using borax-contaminated food found

 On Feb.15, provincial Market Management Team No.1, Phu Cuong ward’s People’s Committee and relevant agencies jointly make an inspection tour of the price list around Lady Thien Hau temple; provided leaflets on the price regulations for motorbike keeping services, hot lines of the local Market Management Team (0919.374898), the local Security Team (0650.3827026)…

*In the afternoon of the same day, Tran Thi Thanh Thao, head of Phu Cuong ward’s inter-sectoral inspection delegation on food safety and hygiene (FSH) said that 10 eating and drinking shops were found to violate conditions on FSH, 7 of which used borax-contaminated food.

 Also according to Mrs.Thao, there are additional 50 eateries on Feb.14 and 15 to serve pilgrims, bringing the total number of such eateries to more than 100. Currently, her inspection delegation focuses on making inspection over the issue of food safety and hygiene.
