The local activities of publishing, printing and issuance have been developed strongly in both quantity and quality. The entire province now has 568 printing houses, 58 of which are foreign businesses.

Addressing the anniversary, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi asked the industry’s functional agencies and units excelling tasks in the coming time and noted that the department should spur management on publishing, printing and issuance and facilitate publishing houses’ operation.

On the occasion, the Ministry Information and Communications granted an insignia “for the cause of information and communications” to 2 outstanding individuals.
