Province-based enterprises present Tet gifts to social policy beneficiaries and poor people in TDM city, Thuan An town

Early January 16, province-based South Korean Business Association and Kumho Tires Co.Ltd. joined hands with provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and TDM city’s People’s Committee to present 240 Tet gifts worth VND600,000 each, including cooking oil, soya-sauce, medical oil, sugar and VND400,000 in cash to policy beneficiary families and poor households in TDM city.

*On January 15, Glaft Paper Vietnam Co.Ltd. in TDM city organized a delegation to visit and give Tet gifts for children at a charity class in Hiep Thanh ward on the occasion of the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.

Members of the delegation extended their best regards to children at the class and donated 2 bookcases to the class; presented 60 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each, including clothes, confectionary…, to them.

The same day, leaders of the company also visited and presented Tet gifts valued at VND70mln, including essential commodities, to children at the Tinh Me (Mother’s love) open house and Bung Church’s Center for Orphans in Thuan An town.

*On the upcoming Tet festival, Big C supermarket chain and Unilever Company has jointly organized a program giving 2,700 Tet gifts worth VND250,000 each, including essential commodities, to poor households in 26 localities nationwide, beginning from January 14 to 16.

It is known that over the past six years, Big C and its providers presented more than 1,000 Tet gifts to needy people, expressing their gratefulness to the community’s confidence. This year, Big C’s program giving Tet gifts to the poor will be organized in HCM city, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Da Lat, Da Nang, Hue, Nghe An, Viet Tri…
