Province gets animated with activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day

Binh Duong has got animated with a series of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-November 20, 2012).

In early November, teachers and pupils at Tran Van On high school in Thuan An town were very animated with a series of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. The school collected 19 wall-newspapers, 6 journals and many other works regarding Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.

The school continues celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day with a flower arrangement contest and sports games, including volleyball, football, table tennis, badminton…, today, November 11. The awards ceremony is expected to take place on the morning of November 20.

Whilst, Di An high school’s final round of the 14th school singing contest took place at Di An theater yesterday, November 18 with 24 excellent items that were selected from 218 items of 30 classes after two qualifying rounds.

Teacher Ngo Tuan Ky, Secretary of Di An high school said: “On the annual Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, Di An high school organizes the school singing contest for pupils. This is not only an useful playground for pupils, but also helps them express their gratefulness to teachers, homeland…”.

Provincial Continuing Education Center also organized an art performance competition from November 13 to 16 to mark Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. The organizers sorted out 28 out of 127 items from 28 Youth Union branches to perform at the final round of the competition.

Apartedly, the school’s Youth Union held many other significant activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, including a writing contest on wall-newspapers, a contest on “Rung chuong vang” (Ring the golden bell), a sports contest with events: billiards, badminton, table tennis…The awards ceremony will take place on November 20.

Provincial Cultural and Fine Arts Junior College is also getting animated with a series of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day with the theme of “Chung mot mai truong” (Sharing the school). Starting  these activities was an art competition on November 13. The organizers selected 14 items and 20 couples of candidates with excellent performance into the final round of the competition that took place on November 16.

The school also held many other significant activities to mark Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, including contests on flower arrangement, cooking and drawing. Especially, the school’s drawing contest absorbed 18 teams with themes: Chung mot mai truong (Sharing the school), Mot nguoi ban vuot kho vuon len trong hoc tap (A friend overcomes difficulties to rise up in study), Cong truong An toan giao thong (School gate with traffic safety)…

With the above attractive and meaningful activities, this year’s Vietnamese Teachers’Day will make a memorable impression in teachers’ heart at schools in Binh Duong.
