*Over 300 people register to donate blood

Early April 7, provincial Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation held a meeting to respond to the Whole People’s Voluntary Blood Donation Day and launch the voluntary blood donation campaign 2011.

More than 400 members of TDM town’s Youth Unions, Red Cross Societies, Women’s Unions and students from universities and colleges in the province attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Huynh Van Nhi, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee cum Head of provincial Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation called for all walks of life to actively respond to the voluntary blood donation campaign. More than 300 participants also registered to donate their blood with 275 units of blood given.
