Province responds to World Environment Day

Early March 15, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a meeting with representatives of colleges, universities and Divisions of Natural Resources and Environment of districts, town and TDM city about preparatory work in response to the  World Environment Day, June 5, 2018.

With the theme of “Beating Plastic Pollution”, this year’s World Environment Day includes a series of propaganda activities to raise public awareness of plastic waste such as organizing classes on environment for primary pupils; contests on video clips disseminating of information about environmental protection…

A ceremony to launch the World Environment Day 2018 is expected to be held at Thu Dau Mot University on June 3, with the participation of leaders and more than 1,000 pupils, students from universities, colleges, vocational training schools and businesses in the province.
