Province’s industry-trade sector gains high growth, says Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Nam Hai

Early August 3, provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) forwarded a  conference highlighting exemplary role-models in the patriotic emulation movement between 2006 and 2010 and designing tasks for the next five years of 2010 and 2015.

 

Provincial DoIT over time made efforts in State administration work, helping it reach high growth in targets. Its industrial production value increased by 64.73% compared to 2006; the total retail sales of goods and services was estimated at 2.5 times higher than 2006; export turnover saw a 75.5% growth over 2006…

 

For the next five years, the province’s industry and trade sector will strive to reach an average growth at 18%-19%/year, export value at 20%/year, total retail sales of goods and services at 18%-20%/year…

 

Addressing the conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Nam Hai spoke highly of the achievements made by the province’s industry and trade sector and said that the province’s industry and trade sector gained high growth compared to other localities nationwide, contributing to the country’s economic development.

 

For achievements done, 35 collectives and 30 individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit by the Ministry of Industry and Trade; 47 individuals received the mementoes; 10 collectives and 12 individuals were presented the certificates of merit by provincial People’s Committee.
