Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan on socio-economic development for 2023. Accordingly, the province will strive to increase the local index of industrial production (IIP) by over 8.7% compared to 2022.
To gain this goal, the province will further promote industrial restructuring on the basis of application of technical advances, technological improvements, digital transformation and achievements of the fourth industrial revolution; prioritize the development of a number of spearheading, high-tech and auxiliary industries of information, telecommunications, electronics, artificial intelligence, automobile manufacturing, biotechnology, software production, clean energy, renewable energy...; soon establish high-tech, specialized industrial parks and gradually form up provincial Innovation Zone; step up the relocation of production facilities into industrial parks and compounds.
Provincial People's Committee has requested provincial Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with other departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to accelerate restructuring of industrial manufacture towards improving productivity, efficiency, competitiveness and creating a driving force for urban, service development...
