Provincial chairman receives Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung yesterday received Mr. Simon Van der Burg, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

 

At the reception, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung briefed the guest on local socio-economic development, foreign investment attraction in the first months of 2014. The provincial People’s Committee chairman highly appreciated effective operation of Dutch businesses such as NedSpice, Phillips, FrieslandCampina Vietnam and so on, contributing to the provincial socio-economic development. In addition, the chairman expressed thanks to the Netherlands Consul General and hoped that the Consul General would continue to help Dutch and Vietnamese enterprises strengthen cooperation and investment in hi-tech areas, food, agricultural and pharmaceutical industries and among others.

 

Addressing the reception, Dutch Consul General Simon Van der Burg expressed impression on Binh Duong’s rapid growth and stressed that good relation between the Netherlands and Vietnam becomes closer, especially after the past official Vietnam visit of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

 

He also said that many Dutch enterprises would in the coming time come to invest in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular. The Dutch Consulate General will offer favorable conditions to help Dutch and Vietnamese businesses spur investment and cooperation on many fields.
