As of Dec.2009, Binh Duong province had 7,417 poor households or 3.45% of total, including 512 households in need of housing and more than 60 children with heart disease in need of surgery…

 

Before the above real situation, provincial Mobilization Board for the Day for the Poor has unanimously continued organizing the “Day for the Poor” campaign 2010 from Sept.1 to Dec.31, 2010.

 

Over the past 10 years, provincial Funds for the Poor at all levels and their member organizations mobilized nearly VND200bln to build and upgrade unity, compassion houses for the poor; provided financial support for the poor to enjoy medical check-up and treatment and helped disadvantaged children….
