Provincial EPF reaches over VND 253 billion

Provincial Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) was established in 2009, operating in the form of entrustment.  After 14 years of operation, from the initial capital of VND 30 billion untill now, it has reached more than VND 253 billion, an increase of 8 times compared to the time of establishment. Of the total amount, VND 201 billion came from the State budget and more than VND 52 billion was extracted from the operations of the unit.

In the period of 2021-2022, provincial Environmental Protection Fund provided loans for 13 projects, with total outstanding loans of VND131.8 billion. The loan interest rate was supportive, averaging from 1.5%/year to 4.2%/year, on the loan contracts. The operational targets of the fund achieved good results. Clients complied with the repayment period. There were no bad debts and the projects were in operation and used loans with the right purposes.
