Provincial leader receives Chairman of Japan’s Omron Group

Early March 6, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Ogino Isao, Chairman of Japan’s Omron Group.

At the reception, Mr.Ogino Isao said that Omron Group is specialized in manufacturing and supplying blood pressure monitors for 170 countries around the world with the annual average output of around 20 million products. So far, Omron Vietnam Company in Binh Duong has been set up and developed for 10 years. As planned, the company will begin fostering a new product line of blood pressure monitor till 2018. And until 2020, it will be among the world’s blood pressure monitor producer with the annual revenue of US$200million, a twofold increase compared to the figure at present.

He added that the company’s Phuc An Khanh area will be inaugurated on August 1 ahead. This work aims to meet needs of the company’s staff on welfare.

Mr.Liem also informed the chairman of the province’s FDI attraction since early this year while saying that Japan now leads foreign investment in the province with 250 projects. He expressed his delight when Omron Group selected VSIP to make investment and paid more attention to welfare policies for workers; wished the group more successes in the coming time.
