Provincial leaders receive CEO of HongKong’s Esquel Corp.

Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee yesterday received and worked with Marjorie Yang, CEO of HongKong’s Esquel Corporation.

At the reception, Mr.Nam applauded Mrs.Marjorie Yang’s working visit to Binh Duong while speaking highly of Esquel Corporation’s production activities in Vietnam with 4 factories, including 2 in Binh Duong. Esquel Vietnam has created a closed production chain in the garment-textile industry towards environmentally friendly and high technologies. He also highly appreciated the corporation’s operational motto, not only bringing profits to it, but also a source of high income to laborers. He wanted that the corporation will have a long-term business strategy in Binh Duong while introducing the local investment climate to its partners.

Mrs.Marjorie Yang thanked provincial leaders for their attention and support to Esquel Corporation’s factories in the province. She also expressed the corporation’s long-term business commitment herein. The birth of the corporation’s 2^nd factory in VSIP 2 by the end of 2015 was seen as a demonstration for this. After its 15-year investment in the province, Esquel Vietnam has worked very effectively, becoming a great partner of the world’s famous brands in the textile-garment industry.

At the reception, she informed Mr.Nam about the effective operation of Esquel Vietnam’s factories after 15 years of development. This result came from the corporation’s efforts in taking good care of laborers’ lives.

Mr.Nam also expressed his impression on the operation of Esquel Vietnam’s factories while believing that they will further reap new successes in the coming time, especially amid Vietnam joining the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP).
