Provincial leaders visit and congratulate provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board

On November 5, a delegation of leaders from provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee, led by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation visited and congratulated the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of the 40th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (November 7, 1981 - November 7, 2021).

At the event, Mr. Loi affirmed that over the past 40 years, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in general and the province’s Buddhist Sangha in particular have always accompanied the nation with the motto of “good life, good religion” and had solidarity with other religions. Over the past time, provincial Buddhist Sangha actively contributed to the local socio-economic development and made efforts in taking care of people's lives, especially during the last fight against Covid-19 pandemic. Provincial leaders thanked the efforts by provincial Buddhist Sangha, monks, nuns, and followers who have actively participated in the local fight against Covid-19 pandemic by practical activities.

On the occasion of the 40^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Mr. Loi extended best regards to members of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, monks, nuns, and followers. The province has always created the best conditions for the local Buddhist Sangha to operate, actively contributing to the local overall development.
