Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem yesterday visited and presented Tet gifts to 100 children with difficult circumstances in Thuan An town’s An Thanh ward and An Son commune.  

It is known that each gift is worth VND150,000, including confectionary, sugar, milk, notebooks and VND400,000 in cash. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Liem wished these children a happy new year while hoping them to make efforts in study to be worthy of the attention and care of the whole society.

On the occasion of the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, from January 13 to 16, provincial leaders, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Support Child Fund, mass organizations and donors have organized delegations to visit and present Tet gifts to 460 children with difficult circumstances in some wards and communes of TDM city, Thuan An town, Ben Cat district, Dau Tieng district and provincial Social Support Center.
