Provincial State employees’ Trade Union marks 20th anniversary

Early July 28, provincial State employees’ Trade Union held a ceremony in celebration of the 88^th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929-July 28, 2017), its 20^th anniversary (July 28, 1997-July 28, 2017) and a conference to review the movement of “building cultural agencies with qualified and effective 8-hour working day” for the period of 2007-2017.

Twelve outstanding collectives in the movement honored

At the event, delegates reviewed the formation and development of Vietnam Trade Union. Since being established, provincial State employees’ Trade Union has constantly developed and been always recognized as an excellent unit by provincial Labor Union. The Trade Union now has a total of 60 trade union locals with approximately 5,500 members. Under the movement of “building cultural agencies with qualified and effective 8-hour working day”, there are more than 95% of State agencies, units recognized as cultural ones and more than 98% of State employees winning the “cultural family” title every year.

On this occasion, provincial State employees’ Trade Union awarded the certificates of merit to 12 collectives and 9 individuals having excellent achievements in the movement of “building cultural agencies with qualified and effective 8-hour working day” between 2007 and 2017.
