Provincial traffic safety contest for 2018-2019 academic year kicks off

On November 3, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) in collaboration with provincial Traffic Safety Committee opened a traffic safety competition for the 2018-2018 academic year, with the participation of 48 units and schools in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Le Nhat Nam, Vice-Director of provincial DoET, Head of the Organizing Board of the contest said that the contest is annually held with the goal of boosting dissemination of information about traffic safety among pupils while assessing the effectiveness of dissemination on traffic safety among units, schools in the province…

Finally, first prize in the bloc of the Divisions of Education-Training went to Tan Uyen town. Di An and Thuan An town grasped second and third prizes, respectively. In the bloc of private high schools and continuing education centers,  provincial Continuing Education Center, Phu Giao district’s Vocational Training-Continuing Education Center and Nguyen Khuyen high-secondary school won first, second and third prizes, respectively. Whilst, Vo Minh Duc high school, An My high school in TDM city and Phuoc Vinh high school pocketed first, second and third prizes, respectively in the bloc of public high schools.

The awards ceremony of the contest is expected to be organized at Bau Bang high school in Bau Bang district on November 11 ahead.
