Rehearsal on rescue skills for workers via mock trial

Early March 31, provincial Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department coordinated with the Binh Duong Vinasoy Soymilk factory under Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company ( QNS) at VSIP IIA in  Tan Uyen town’s Vinh Tan ward to organize a drill on fire fighting-prevention and rescue for hundreds of workers.

Accordingly, the province’s anti-fire and rescue police force disseminated regulations on fire fighting and prevention in factory,  thereby enhancing awareness and responsibility of agencies and businesses in the implementation of the regulations; improving the role of leaders of  businesses in management when  fire or explosive cases occur. The force also instructed the company’s fire fighting-prevention team to practice necessary skills in fire fighting-prevention and rescue in case of fire and explosion…

On the afternoon of the same day, the force continued guiding the company’s workers to carry out fire fighting plans in the workshop area. The assumed situation was a fire occurring in the workshop with the burning area of ​​100m2. The workshop has a large amount of flammable substances together with its features of construction structure, so the fire spread very quickly, covering a part of the factory. The heat from the fire was high. The amount of smoke and toxic gas covered the entire production area. All made the company face difficulties in fire fighting and rescue.

The company’s anti-fire team deployed means to organize fire fighting, but was ineffective, so it coordinated with the professional firefighting force to extinguish the fire completely.
