Religious people at My Hao Quarter in Chanh My Ward of Thu Dau Mot City practice good religious life

Recently, religious people at My Hao Quarter of Chanh My Ward in Thu Dau Mot City have carried out the decisions of the Party and legal policies of the State in the efforts of building up beautiful homeland with prosperity and wealth for the cause of good religious life. For the year, local religious people at the quarter are preparing for a merry Christmas.

Visiting My Hao quarter at this time of the year, we can see the jubilant atmosphere in which local people are preparing for Christmas. On the two roads leading to the quarter, the tractors are operated to clear up the road sides for wider view on the rural road decorated with seasonal lights. Along the road, local people are completing their decoration of houses, caves, Christmas trees, etc. All are ready for Christmas.

Nguyen Phuoc Hai, the Chair of Fatherland Front Committee of Chanh My Ward said: “Live hood of religious people in My Hao have recently improved; they are enjoying a more prosperous Christmas. Thanks to support of all-level authorities, training courses and courses of technology transferring have been organized to transform local farmers into urban farmers as Chanh My was upgraded to a ward.”

Hai added that the agricultural production models of local people have been diverted to general development. Accordingly, some households have been getting rich thanks to cultivation of orchids and ornament plants. Some others earn by cattle and fish rearing. Locally, the two businesses have created jobs to majority of working people.

Aside from production and business facilitation, local authority has reviewed the poverty status of families, seeking out measures to effectively reduce poverty. Accordingly, unions and organizations have offered loans to local people, students, youths, females, and farmers. Working with the unions and organizations, the local church and kind-hearted people have rationally support local religious people to escape poverty, leaving only 7 families of poverty out of 471 local families. Those families out of poverty threshold are always in the spotlight to avoid the scenario that they may become poor again.

Along with life settlement for local people, local authority has concentrated on infrastructure construction and urban beautification. Up to date, the major constructions for power supply, schools, and stations have basically fulfilled by the great contributions and efforts of local religious people.

Getting around to meet local people of My Hao Quarter, we could see how they are delight at great changes. Christmas is all around and bringing joy to local people who are welcoming a season of prosperity and happiness.
