For better results, the district’s Women’s Union has frequently launched the campaign on great holidays. It has recently been launched on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union and received strong support from the local women.
In the past nine months, the district’s Women’s Union also mobilized individuals and organizations to upgrade 2 houses and donate 9 saving books for poor women; built 8 compassion houses worth more than VND200mln; helped 3,677 women get loans to development homebased business…
According to Mrs.Nga, the “Building compassion house” campaign has been implemented in association with the campaign of “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings”, so the local women have become more self-aware in assisting poorer ones. “In practice, there are still lots of poor women and donors’ support will contribute to sharing difficulties with them, contributing to promoting the campaign and making it become more meaningful…”, she added.
