“Returning to the root-Lighting the dream of young workers” festival held

Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Union has just kicked off a “returning to the root-lighting the dream of young workers” festival.

The festival took place with many significant activities, including a visit to Phu Loi prison historical relic site, provincial Museum, Hoi Khanh pagoda; a competition telling stories about Uncle Ho themed “Our heart gets purer when remembering Uncle Ho”; a ‘Ringing the Golded Belt” contest entitled “City-dwellers are proud of homeland traditions”. All part tests were organized under the form of multiple-choice about basic knowledge pertaining to late President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career and life, the Party, Youth Union, national cultural-historical traditions…

On this occasion, the city’s Youth Union also organized a talk show with leaders of the city themed “The Party and youth”, a program on “Lighting the dream of young workers”; admitted additional 38 Youth Union members; handed over a “youth medicine chest” work to the sub-union for young workers of quarter 1 in Phu Hoa ward; honored 28 young workers and proprietors for their active contributions to the 2015 Workers’ Month and Week for Young Workers…
