Significant activities in celebration of 11th provincial Party congress

In celebration of the 11^th provincial Party congress, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have diversified activities for the goal of socio-economic development, contributing to building up civilized, modern urban and new-style rural areas.

Social welfare ensured

With the significance of sharing difficulties with needy people, contributing to ensuring social welfare, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have actively mobilized resources to support teenagers and children with difficult circumstances. Particularly, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union has just coordinated with relevant units to award “Green dream” scholarships worth VND1million each to poor workers.

The “Green scholarship” program has contributed to helping teenagers and children rise up in study towards a better future. This is also one of works done by the district’s Youth Union to set achievements in celebration of the 11^th provincial Party congress. The district’s Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) has also worked with the Youth Union of provincial Department of Foreign Affairs to organize a “lighting dreams-giving strength to school” program for the 2020-2021 academic year with 2 scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils.

In addition, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has coordinated with Di An city’s Youth Federation to hold a journey “For a bright future” for youths turning over a new leaf. Accordingly, these youths were introduced jobs and got loans from the Bank for Social Policies for economic development, improving their lives. Civilized lifestyle construction

With the motto of “Each Youth Union member does at least one deed in celebration of the 11^th provincial Party congress and the 13^th national Party congress”, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union has launched many environmental protection activities among its branches. At the event, the Youth Union of Tan My commune got involved in cleaning up the self-managing streets of 1 km from the communal People’s Committee to Tan My secondary school.

The Youth Unions of wards in Tan Uyen town have also joined hands with the executive boards of quarters to clean up streets. The Youth Union of Thanh Phuoc ward has just worked with the executive boards of quarters to tidy up and collect waste along streets; clear sewers; tend green trees in public places and along model streets…

The local Youth Union branches have also attached special importance to maintaining social order and safety. For example, the Youth Union of Di An ward in Di An city has signed a commitment of building the quarter without social evils for 2020-2021 period in Binh Minh 2 quarter. Accordingly, the ward’s Youth Union coordinated with the executive board of Binh Minh 2 quarter to make law dissemination among youths, introduce jobs to them and provide them with vocational training…
