Simplification of administrative procedures keeps up with pace in 2007-10

On implementation of administrative procedures simplification across State’s management decided by government’s Prime Minister, Binh Duong authority has launched step by step action and kept good pace.

 

Administrative procedures built into sets

 

In the very first stage, the Provincial People’s Committee has determined administrative reforms to be focal tasks to the end of 2010 and has prompted demands to all levels and sectors. Besides, propaganda is boosted up to enhance awareness and call for officials, the people, organizations, and enterprise community to join in administrative procedures review. The State’s authority has complete listing of administrative procedures. The listing is expected to be important factor helping units to build their own active sets of administrative procedures. Information policies and periodical reports and discipline harness are vital factors contributing to completion of plans in accordance with simplification criteria proposed by the Prime Minister.

 

As a result, the Provincial People’s Committee has publicly announced sets of administrative procedures including generally implementing set in district and commune level by the end of June 2009, and the 1,883-procedure provincial level set announced by August 2009.

Those sets are posted to website of the province and bound into guide books in receiving places so that individuals and organizations can refer to. In the meantime, the data is also input to national database.

 

Procedures simplified

 

In the whole province, some 3,306 survey forms are handed out to review administrative procedures. As a result, 59.5% of the procedures are requested to be simplified while 80 procedures are eliminated.

 

In the coming time, the Provincial People’s Committee will continue its leading role in setting up national database of administrative procedures along with document drafting for simplification and refinement of amended sets of administrative procedures.
