Southern Vietnam Liberation Anniversary to be organized by its importance

Late March 23, the Steering Board for Major Celebration of the province met to discuss plan for marking the 40^th anniversary of Southern Vietnam liberation and nation unification (April 30, 1975 to April 30, 2015). Mr. Pham Van Canh, permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Council and Head of the Steering Board chaired the meeting.

Under plan, the anniversary shall be organized at 19:30 on April 27 at the square of Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center including the marching of about 5,000 people, major ceremonies, stage show of “Dat nuoc tron niem vui” (the nation in happiness), and firework. The ceremony is to affirm the position of greatness in the history for the victory in 1975, expressing deepest gratitude for the generations fallen down for independence, freedom, peace, and nation unification, inspiring the pride and trust of the Party and authorities among people classes, creating jubilant atmosphere in the major celebration of the nation.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Canh demanded organizers of major celebration in the province to be well prepared in terms of staffs and organization. He stressed on the uniform organization of the upcoming event to match the greatness of April 30, 1975 victory bringing up Southern Vietnam Liberation and nation unification while assuring efficiency of event organization.
