Strengthening fire prevention and fighting in Lunar New Year and dry season 2015

PPC’s Chairman Tran Van Nam signed Document No. 404/UBND-NC requiring agencies, sectors, organizations, People’s Committees of localities to strengthen safety inspection on fire prevention and fighting at peak times of Tet holidays and dry season 2015. 

Accordingly, heads of agencies, sectors, localities, organizations, businesses in the province had to carry out safety checks on fire prevention and fighting at their units; examine operational status of fire prevention and fighting’s equipment, as well as assign, inspect security and fire prevention and fighting; arrangement and orders of goods must be tidy, proper in accordance with regulations on fire prevention and fighting; control well heat sources, inflammable; practice fire and rescue situations with realistic assumptions...

Fire prevention and fighting police increased safety checks on fire prevention and fighting at facilities having high explosion risks, such as: warehouses, petrol stations, crowded places, markets, trade centers, supermarkets; tightened management of the business and transportation of flammable chemicals; Management Board of Industrial Parks strengthened information dissemination combined with fire prevention and fighting inspections at businesses before, during and after the Lunar New Year. Department of Agriculture and Rural Development directed rangers to enhance patrolling, handling risk of forest fires, ensuring safety and security before, during and after Tet holidays, dry season 2015.
