Early October 25, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee of the project on "Investigating and evaluating the current situation of operations and proposing policy mechanisms to support enterprises in and out of industrial parks and compounds in the southern region to change their functions and remove them to industrial parks and compounds in Binh Duong province”.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee of the Project considered and proposed relocation support policies for manufacturing enterprises outside industrial parks and compounds in the southern region of the province to change their functions and relocate them into industrial parks and compounds in the province while proposing criteria to identify enterprises outside industrial parks and compounds in the southern region to convert their functions and relocate to industrial zones and compounds...

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Minh agreed with the development of support policies and criteria for evaluating the level of relocation of businesses. However, he requested functional agencies to specifically review proposals for support policies in the direction of stabilizing jobs for workers and enterprises' production; considered land rental prices to encourage businesses to relocate; deliberate housing policies for workers, vocational training policies for workers, policies on exemption and reduction of fees for administrative procedures for relocation.

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade was also ordered to collect contributive ideas to edit and supplement draft regulations and then submit them to provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval in the next meeting.
