Survey of socio-economic status information of 53 ethnic communities dispatched

Provincial Department of Statistics has just coordinated with Phu Giao District Division of Statistics to dispatch the survey of socio-economic status information of 53 ethnic communites in 2019.

The survey is conducted from October 1 through 30 regarding the ethnic households in hamlets, wards, and township in the province. Comparted to information survey in 2015, this year’s survey has been improved in terms of measures and formalities of information collection with three major new points of applying information technology in all the survey processes and improved data connection and forms from General Department of Survey in 2019 to service the information collection process.

The dispatch is a major political duty in composing statistic criteria for the Party, National Assembly, and government in construction of policies, strategies and socio-economic development strategies for ethnic regions in 2021-2025.
