Tan Uyen and Dau Tieng electricity companies launch power saving program

On May 7, Tan Uyen town electricity company held a launching ceremony of power saving quarters and hamlets. At the ceremony, Tan Uyen electricity disseminated the Government’s Instruction No.171 on spurring power saving; the Finance Ministry and Trade and Industry Ministry’s joint circular No. 111/2009 on implementing power saving at the State agencies and the provincial People’s Committee’s Instruction No.02 on strengthening power thrift. Right after the launching ceremony, youths and unionists paraded by bikes across roads in Uyen Hung ward.

In 2014, Tan Uyen town had 48 out of 62 quarters and hamlets registering to save power with the output of more than 1,522,500Kwh.

Also the same day, Dau Tieng Electricity held a launching ceremony of the 2015 power saving quarters and hamlets program.

Over the past years, Dau Tieng Electricity positively disseminates local households to save electricity with the output of 117,862Kwh.

In this year, Dau Tieng Electricity continues to well implement dissemination to mobilize organizations and individuals and families to carry out power thrift. Accordingly, agencies, mass bodies and quarters become key units to mobilize families to join in the program.
