TDM city’s Steering Board 138, on June 23, coordinated with the city’s Youth Union to organize a ceremony to launch the 2013 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and respond to the Drug Prevention Day, June 26.

At the ceremony, the city’s Steering Board of the 2013 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign set up 9 volunteer squads on “traffic safety”, “urban civilization”, “green volunteer”, “environmental protection”, “for beloved juniors, “law dissemination”, “young physicians”, “new rural construction” and “giving strength in exam season”.

On this occasion, provincial Youth Federation donated a house of compassion to the family of a needy youngster. Its total expense was mobilized by provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union. Longhyei Vietnam Co.Ltd. also presented 30 helmets to 30 members and young workers in the city.

More than 700 Youth Union members also took part in a drug prevention parade through the city’s main streets such as Binh Duong Avenue, DT743, Huynh Van Luy. Finally, the organizers awarded prizes to the most beautiful bicycles decorated with flowers during the parade.
