In the first half of this year, despite difficulties of economy, TDM city economy remains maintaining growth pace of service turnover and industrial production value. Policies on social welfare were implemented thoroughly.

The total retail of goods and service reached nearly VND16,500bil, a 29% increase from the same period last year whilst industrial production value won nearly VND4,129bil, a 13% year-on-year rise and many more.

From now till the end of this year, Thu Dau Mot city will focus on budget management, wage reform and social welfare assurance, will spur control on epidemics such as influenza A virus (H5N1, H5N9, H7N9), foot-mouth disease and dengue fever and so on.
