Tet gifts given for handicapped people, poor children

With the significance of “Beloved spring”, Thuan An town’s Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients has mobilized Moc Xuyen Furniture Co.Ltd. to offer 300 gifts worth VND400,000 each to disabled people, orphans, poor patients in An Thanh and Lai Thieu wards.

It is known that the association last year well maintained social charity activities. Especially, the association presented 900 gifts and 249 scholarships worth VND1.8billion to poor-but-excellent pupils.

*The People’s Committee of An Phu ward in Thuan An town has just offered 82 Tet gifts worth more than VND26million to poor and orphan children.

Prior to that, the Women’s Union of the ward coordinated with Binh Duong Lottery Company to donate 40 gifts worth VND300,000 each to children selling lottery tickets, aiming to encourage them to rise up in life.
