June 1, at Tan Thanh Primary School of Bac Tan Uyen district, the launching ceremony of Action Month for Children and the Sixth Children's Day in Binh Duong Province in 2022 took place. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Sponsoring Council of the provincial Children's Fund.

The launching ceremony was held as a great effort of the sectors, levels and business community to take care and protect children, especially children in difficult circumstances.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee and sponsors of Orion Vina Food Co. Ltd., Medic Binh Duong General Hospital, Binh Duong Investment and Development Commercial Joint Stock Bank and URC Vietnam Co. Ltd. gave 1,050 gifts to disadvantaged children in 9 districts, towns and cities and the provincial Association of the Blind. Each gift is worth VND 1 million including VND 300,000 in cash, 1 gift worth VND 200,000 and 1 free medical examination card worth VND 500,000 VND. The total value of the gifts is VND 1.2 billion.

On this occasion, more than 1,000 disadvantaged children enjoyed many fun and exciting musical performances and magic shows.

After the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district organized a communication, education and social mobilization campaign to raise awareness, knowledge and skills on child protection, on reducing child labor through through the form of parade around the roads of the communes and towns in the district.
