The peak movement of volunteeringsoldiers for urban civilisation initiated

On the morning of March 9, Binh Duong provincial Youth Union Executive Committee, in coordination with the Thu Dau Mot city Youth Union, organized a mobilization ceremony for the Peak Day of Volunteer Soldiers for Urban Civilisation in the Youth Month of 2024. Attending the event was Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the ceremony, the Youth Union of 14 wards, the Youth Union of the City Police, the Youth Union of the City Military Command signed commitments to ensure the organization of urban civilization construction activities in the city's wards in 2024; introducing 4 volunteer soldier teams, including: Urban civilization volunteer soldier team; volunteer team for free medical examination, treatment, and medication distribution; community volunteer team; online public service supporting team.

Secretary of the Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot City, Anh Nguyen Minh Tam, stated that volunteer teams organize meaningful activities, through specific, practical actions, contributing to raising the awareness of youth union members and the people in implementing urban civilized lifestyle, creating a green - clean - beautiful environment; affirming the role of youth in participating with the locality in building a civilised, healthy lifestyle.

After the mobilization ceremony, volunteer teams have deployed to clean up and plant trees in the park; clean up the canal route; provide medical examinations, health consultations, and free medication to the people, youth union members in the boarding house area; visit and give gifts to 5 socially privileged families.. At the same time, 100% of the city's Youth Union facilities have been deployed to carry out youth projects for urban civilization.
