They are always in the vanguard of all movements. Although living in any circumstances, they always uphold and bring into full play the noble virtue of “Uncle Ho's Soldiers” and follow his teachings.

Having a deep understanding of members

Phu Loi ward’s Veterans Association has always taken the lead in movements in TDM city in particular and in the province in general. Noticeably, the association has excelled at the movements of “helping each other in economic development”, ensuring national defence-security, educating young generations about the national traditions…And Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the ward’s Veterans Association has made great contributions to the above result.

Like other veterans, Mr.Dung has always upheld and brought into full play the noble virtue of “Uncle Ho's Soldiers in any circumstances. He said that he took part in the southwestern border war in 1978. After Vietnamese soldiers defeated Pol Pot, he was ordered to stay in Cambodia for international duties. Returning from military service, he worked for the Song Be provincial Department of Forestry. Despite hardships, he still actively took part in activities of the local Veterans Association. He worked as Secretary of the local Party Cell and then vice-chairman of the ward’s Veterans Association for many years. By the end of 2012, he was nominated as chairman of the ward’s Veterans Association

Noticeably, Dung is always closed to each member and spends more time on knowing about the lives of members. All have helped him have a deep understanding of members, thereby being able to well fulfill his mission and role of a chairman of the ward’s veterans association.

As a chairman of the association, Mr.Tu is always in the vanguard of all activities of the association, helping him win members and officials’ faith.
