Thiện Tâm Foundation donates more than VND1.5 billion to wounded and sick soldiers

On March 30, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with Thiện Tâm Foundation (under Vingroup) to give gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in the province. Attending the gift giving ceremony were Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

With the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source", to welcome the 47th anniversary of the national reunification, this year, Thiện Tâm Foundation presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers having bodily injury of 81% or more of 63 provinces and cities across the country. In Binh Duong, 102 people received the support (VND15 million/person), with a total expenditure of VND1 billion 530 million. Phung Thi My Le, representative of Thiện Tâm Foundation, shared: "It is impossible to count all the merits of soldiers, who sacrificed themselves for the country. The gifts from Thiện Tâm Foundation aim to encourage and share some difficulties with wounded and sick soldiers in the province."

Le Minh Quoc Cuong, Director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the work of caring for meritorious people always received attention of the province; especially on every big holidays and Tet. The contribution and funding of Thiện Tâm Fund to people with meritorious services in Binh Duong is a very meaningful job bringing great joy to the wounded and sick soldiers this year.
