Thuan An regularly takes care of workers' lives

Early July 11th, Thuan An city's Labor Union held a conference to evaluate trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year.

Over the past time, the city’s trade unions at all levels were proactive in propagandizing, mobilizing,  educating to raise trade unionists and employees ‘awareness; regularly carried out activities to take care of trade unionists and members. In the first 6 months of the year, the city’s Labor Union coordinated with the city’s Division of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to give 4,504 gifts for workers with extremely difficult circumstances, those hit by workplace accidents or fatal diseases, support 181 train tickets for workers who could not return home to celebrate Tet for many years; organize a trade union welfare fair...

At the conference, a collective was honored to receive the emulation flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) for outstanding achievements in the movement of emulating in good labor and building a strong trade union in 2022. There were also 3 collectives and 8 individuals received the certificates of merit from the VGCL for their outstanding achievements in the movement of emulating in good labor and building a strong trade union in 2022. Provincial Labor Union also awarded the certificates of merit to 41 other collectives and individuals.
